Angelo Chachas, MD is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in comprehensive care for men and women with venous insufficiency (varicose vein disorders). Dr. Chachas is certified in the VNUS Closure System for venous insufficiency disease and specializes in diseases of the breast, thyroid and digestive system, including disorders of the gallbladder, colon and abdominal wall.
Dr. Chachas is a Utah native and graduated medical school with honors from University of Utah before completing his general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Chachas is certified by the American Board of General Surgery and is a member of the Utah Medical Society.
Dr. Chachas enjoys an active life of fishing, biking, downhill skiing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Chachas is committed to providing excellent medical care to his patients, so they can also enjoy a full and active life. He especially enjoys helping people suffering from venous insufficiency and its painful side effects.
