Robert Bourne, MD, is a highly-skilled sports medicine physician. Dr. Bourne graduated medical school from the St. Louis University School of Medicine before completing an internship and internal medicine residency at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. His expertise is in the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
Dr. Bourne believes in exploring non-operative treatments to their fullest before a patient decides on a surgical remedy. Dr. Bourne's active lifestyle was a major factor in him choosing to practice sports medicine. His hobbies include biking, hiking, boating, surfing and travel. Dr. Bourne and his wife Gemini have been married for 29 years and have four children and nine grandchildren.
