Traske Muir, MD is a fellowship trained and board certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing at Peak Orthopaedic Clinic in Draper, Utah. Dr. Muir received his medical degree from the University of Virginia before completing a general surgery internship at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He later completed a residency in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a fellowship in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Muir specializes in treatment of the lower extremities, including injuries and arthritis of the knee, foot and ankle. He is an Achilles injury specialist offering both operative and non-operative treatment options as well as total ankle replacements and advanced bunion surgery treatment. Dr. Muir has also done extensive research on Achilles tendinopathy and injuries associated with ATV crashes.

One of Dr. Muir's greatest joys is watching his patients walk, run, jump and play with their grandchildren again after their orthopaedic care. He will always look to avoid surgery if possible, and will tailor a treatment plan to meet the specific needs of each patient to allow them to return to full function.

Dr. Muir enjoys wake surfing, mountain biking and traveling with his family. He is the proud father of four daughters and one son.
