Dr. Rivera is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine with special interests in preventive medicine and wellness. She is also dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients with obesity.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Art History and Linguistics from the University of Michigan; a master’s degree in Basic Medical Sciences from Wayne State University School of Medicine and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Upon graduating from medical school, she completed her internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan.
She is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
In her spare time, Dr. Rivera enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and 3 Boston terrier dogs. She also enjoys skiing, traveling and she loves to cook for her family.
