Michael H. Bourne, MD, is a highly-skilled orthopaedic surgeon with 30 years of experience. Dr. Bourne graduated from the University of Utah Medical School before completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic and sports surgical reconstruction fellowship at the Tahoe and Orthopaedic Clinic. Bourne specializes in adult reconstructive surgery, including total hip and knee replacements.
His patient’s needs are always Dr. Bourne’s first consideration. He and his team of specialists strive to provide the latest in proven surgical technology in an efficient and friendly manner. However, Dr. Bourne believes the surgical remedy should only be considered once all appropriate non-operative measures have been given. He loves helping is patients alleviate nagging pain or injury and return to the physical activities they enjoy.
Dr. Bourne and his wife Judi have been married for nearly 40 years. They enjoy hiking, skiing and travel as well as spending time with their five children and eight grandchildren.
