Betsy Reese, DO is a board–certified family medicine, sports medicine physician. After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her family medicine residency training at Forbes Hospital – Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. From there, she served as an active duty family medicine physician in the United States Air Force and eventually returned to Pittsburgh to complete a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Allegheny General Hospital – Allegheny Health Network.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Reese believes that all body systems are interrelated and dependent on one another for good health. She believes that patients should be approached as a whole person rather than a singular concern or medical condition. Using this philosophy, Dr. Reese believes in partnering with her patients to identify and aid them in accomplishing their health goals and treating their ailments.

Dr. Reese has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and concussions. She enjoys the challenges that come with treating all age groups and the variety of medical needs that present to the family medicine clinic.

Dr. Reese grew-up in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, and is the third child of four siblings. From a young age, she was an outdoor enthusiast and now can often be found hiking, camping, running, and skiing when not practicing medicine. Dr. Reese also enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and planning trips with her husband. She currently resides in Salt Lake City and looks forward to sharing her love of the outdoors with a family of her own someday.
